Privacy Policy

Effective date: March 19, 2026

1. Introduction

Clark ("we," "us," or "our") provides an AI agent platform for small and medium-sized businesses. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our services, including our website, Slack integration, and hosted agent workspaces.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and workspace name. If you connect via Slack, we receive your Slack workspace ID and authorized user identity.

Workspace data: We store tenant configuration, workflow metadata, and operational logs necessary to run your agent. This includes messages you send to Clark, agent responses, and workflow execution history.

Integration credentials: When you connect third-party tools (Slack, GitHub, Linear, etc.), we store the access tokens required to operate on your behalf. These credentials are encrypted at rest and scoped to your tenant.

Usage data: We collect basic analytics such as page visits, feature usage, and error logs to improve the product.

Billing information: Payment details are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provision and operate your Clark agent workspace
  • To authenticate you and maintain your session
  • To execute workflows and integrations you configure
  • To send transactional emails related to your account
  • To improve our product, fix bugs, and monitor service health
  • To process billing and manage your subscription

4. Workflow Sharing

We support anonymized workflow sharing for community templates only when you explicitly opt in. Shared workflows are stripped of email addresses, API keys, and other sensitive data before publishing. You can opt out of sharing at any time from your workspace settings.

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data or conversation transcripts. We share data only in these circumstances:

  • Service providers: We use third-party services (Supabase for authentication, Stripe for billing, cloud providers for hosting) that process data on our behalf under contractual obligations.
  • LLM providers: Agent conversations are sent to language model providers (via OpenRouter) to generate responses. We do not use your data to train third-party models.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data at rest and in transit, per-tenant isolation, and scoped access controls. Integration credentials are never included in shared workflow artifacts. While no system is perfectly secure, we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your workspace data for the duration of your active subscription. You can delete your workspace and associated data at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, we remove your tenant data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Anonymized workflow templates that were previously shared may persist in the community library.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising purposes.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised effective date.
